Gratitude for the Simple Things

Today I am grateful for my cookie scooper. This simple tool allows me to make a batch of evenly sized cookies without extra effort or getting my hands dirty.  I am also grateful because today it reminded me to be grateful.

I am grateful for all the little and not so little things that I take for granted.  I am grateful for modern technology and the time it saves me as I go about my everyday tasks.

I am grateful for my washer and dryer.  I cannot imagine washing all of our cloths by hand.  I definitely would not be using cloth diapers.

I am grateful for my bread machine. I can throw all the ingredients in the machine, leave, and come back 2 hours later to hot bread.

I am grateful for my laptop and the internet.  With these I am able to remote in to my office computer and work without leaving my house.

Yes, thank you cookie scooper for 3 dozen beautiful chocolate-chip-oatmeal cookies, and reminding me to be grateful for the simple things.

A Full Cup- Find coupons for your shopping list!

I have recently experimented and fallen in love with A Full Cup. A Full Cup is a website with a helpful blogs, forums, and databases to help you save money on groceries.

My favorite featured is the Coupon Database. At A Full Cup under the coupons tab the first option is coupon database. Here you can enter the name of a product or manufacturer and see if there are any coupons available for a particular item! It will tell you what the coupon is for, when it expires, how much it is worth, and where to find it. If it is a printable coupon, it links you to the source. If it is a newspaper coupon, it tells you what insert and what week you can find it.

I highly recomend A Full Cup to all coupon shoppers.

I just got this in an email and I thought it was really neat. Xerox is giving you an opportunity to send a thank you card to a soldier in Iraq for free! All you have to do is go to Let's Say Thanks, pick a card and a message, and Xerox does the rest!
