A Simple Step Up From Plain Lunch MeatLunch time can be a difficult meal. You don't want to overdue it, but you want to eat healthy & and enjoy the meal. Growing up, one of my least favorite lunches was an ordinary delli sandwich. I have grown to like them a little more, but sometimes you need a little change. When I was starting college, my sister taught me this recipe. It is a quick, simple, yummy sandwich idea.
Ham Delli Meat
Italian Seasoning (optional)
Cut Delli Meat in small pieces. Mix meat with BBQ sauce & some italian dressing. Heat, on stove or in microwave. Toast bread (you don't have to- but I like it best toasted). Place warm meat on toasted bread. Top with cheese, onions, & tomatoes as desired. Eat & enjoy.
This is perfect for those days when you want something different, but you don't want to take a lot of time or special ingredients.
