The Road to a Debt Free Education- A Recap of May

Another month has gone by already!  We have been working hard & saving hard.  First, our grocery budget.

We came in just under $100 this month at $98.07. We have not spent much on toiletries recently, so I am hoping for some good deals at Walgreens this month!  I am going to try my hand at the drug store game again so that I can keep stocked up on the essentials.

Our Vet School Savings is at 56%.  Yupee!  It will be a tough next couple of months to reach our goal, but I think we can do it!  We have written down our preliminary 4 year plan for school.  There are so many variables, but we have a base plan!  We will see how it really turns out.

Amazon Savings for School Books: $45 thanks to Swagbucks!  That may sound small, but I think it is great for just searching the internet! Learn more about Swagbucks here.

Other Ways to Earn a Little Extra
Swagbucks is definately my favorite reward system.  But these are a few others I have participated in and enjoy:
Shop at Home: I try to remember to go through my Shop at Home account whenever I make a purchase.  It is small growth, but every little bit helps!

Opinion Outpost: This is a survey company where you can get paid a few bucks to take a survey.  I am going to try and do one a week.  That should earn me $2-$3 every week. Opinion Outpost is the best survey company I have found so far.

My Points: This is a company that gives you points for certain tasks.  The two that I do are reading emails & printing coupons!  I have a junk mail account that I use to sign up for things.  I just click through the My Points emails once a week and get 5 points per email.  You can also earn 10 points per coupon you print and redeam through My Points.  You can then redeam these points for various prizes.  I plan on getting $10 Subway gift cards.  We enjoy splurging & eating out every once in a while.
